XD Nitro is the force behind Lumacoustics' visual installs at parties, concerts and festivals.
Adam Beyer and Chris Liebing headlined the Drumcode Warehouse party on 25th September in London. We were asked to VJ in the main room and support Adam and Chris's set's.
XD Nitro, part of the Lumacoustics team supported Adam’s set with live, audio reactive visuals surrounding the DJ. The eight metre wide arced screen is broken down into a total of 224 uniform squares. A mix of real-time generative content and more tradition video blends can independently target any sized array of squares from one to all.
The installation looks like an expensive giant video wall made of small LCD panels. The whole system is modular and fully scalable in a number of ways. More panels can be added, shaped around curves or corners and even circled to become a full 360.
The night was an incredible success with amazing sound and lighting. The visuals were an integral part of the atmosphere.
Next time - even bigger, even better.
