Well done, and big thanks !
I'll be giving this a good test over the weekend.

yessss, übernice!

what do you see as performance limits? what is the fastest method?

hrovac 21/10/2010 - 21:24

looksgood as stereoskopic 16x4m projection

Hummm joreg ...
I dont know how does the wikipedia parser works but when I write "woman" I obtain a nice graph whith strange associated words like :
"Archaism"
"Alcoholism beverage"
And when I write "man" I obtain : "Albert Einstein" ...

hrovac 28/07/2012 - 16:04

@rogerlette: makes sense to me

Ahoi tf & gregsn,

I'm fondly using FDG for a current thesis work, here's a wish list:

  • clicking a node in the graph extends/shows subsequent links
  • a spreadable third InputPin next to "From" and "To" to specify individual colours for the nodes in the graph
  • setting the size of a node in the graph, relative to the number of subsequent links

Any chance of an updated version?

Had to edit some BS from my last post :]

mediadog 10/03/2015 - 02:26

Ouch! Just discovered the forces data is global! So if you use more than one node, you cannot independently set their parameters. Even the 2D pin is global, so you cannot have one 2D and one 3D graph. Double ouch!

Is there another version of this around? If not, I'll refactor this one.

Great plugin though, tonfilm, thanks!

tonfilm 10/03/2015 - 12:53

ofc this was not intended, if you find the bug feel free to upload a better version.

Moin moin,

Since I can`t figure out how...is the a way to spread the Force Directed Graph.
In order to get a stack of FDGs layer on top of each other with individual Input for "From" and "To"?

I currently have an result like img1 - but like to have one like img2.

Thanks.
