motivation: I needed to access precalculated results table specified by 3 variables organised in a structured table. (see patch).
Either I have made something simple or quite possibly made something simple complicated.
I suspect it may be on the making things more complicated side, so please help to right this wrong path if it is deemed so !
I'd be happy to hear feedback either way
