The vvvv license comes in two flavors: a non-commercial and a commercial license: For non-commercial use vvvv is free of charge. For any commercial use you need to buy a vvvv license. The vvvv licensing page will give you some more information which of these licenses will suit your needs.

Additional Downloads
- DirectX Redist(ributable): the latest native DirectX version.
- .net 2.0 needed to use the additional vvvv plugins on Windows XP. Not needed on Windows Vista and 7.
- SlimDX End User Runtime (February 2010): needed for slimdx-based plugins.
Installation
- install DirectX, .net 2.0 and SlimDX as mentioned above.
- extract the vvvv directory from the .zip archive to a nice place on your harddisk.
- start vvvv.exe (at least once with as administrator!)
- if you encounter any problems during installation see TroubleShooting
