@DiMiX: there is no operator. basically the soundtrack dictates. so even where there is tracking involved marco has to work very precisely not to loose track.

wow. you guys rock (but i expected that).

it would be interesting to see this system used in a performance addressing the issue of focus (the relationship beween the two "stages", why the audience should concentrate on the screen and why they won´t). there´s a very interesting dynamic there, especially with him being an illusionist who is skilled in directing the audiences´focus to make magic tricks work. (but that would be a 60 minute talk, not a six i guess ;)
watching the performance as a video (=through the eyes of the TED-cameramen) adds another twist.

@joreg: ya i see -"choreography" is quite tight framed (time and placement-wise), he probably was rehearsing a lot

Congrats ! The combination of all those different effects is awesome !
I know vvvv has been challenged a lot for its problems to manage a show timeline base.. Nice to see that Ingolfs timeline manager can be pushed so far :) Very inspiring !
