The documentation pages are a Wiki that can be edited collaboratively by all registered useres. See the Wiki Syntax page on how to format text and play around in the Wiki Sandbox. Hovering a page-title makes the menu come up that has an Edit button on the very left. Clicking it switches to the edit-mode of a page. Everybody is welcome to add informations or translate pages to different languages.
Every wiki page belongs to a place in the menu-hierarchy below the main-menu point Documentation. The second level menu is structured as follows:
Supposed to attract newbies. Here they find step-by-step tutorials and demo patches.
The complete vvvv reference to GUI and specific intrinsic features like Boygrouping and Spreads.
Node/Topic centric approach to a guide. Here the intermediate/advanced user comes to get information concerning specific topics.
All vvvv native nodes and nodes coming with the addonpack have their own node reference page. Those have a wiki-section and list other content related to individual nodes. Nodes can be assigned additional (up to 5) tags which one day will be used to support users searching nodes within vvvv.
Resources for developers of addons.
Users can mark pages that seem outdated with a "requested for review". Hovering a page-title makes the menu come up that has an request review button on the very right. Clicking it pops up a small edit box that allows a user to giving a short statement what part of the page requires clarification which will help authors to react specifically to requests when reworking the page.
