Atelier Markgraph commissioned MESO Digital Interiors with the construction of four electronic media drums and sound reactive visuals for a promotional campaign for the new beverage Amstel Pulse.
The Amstel Drums were deployed in various club locations throughout Greece during the summer of 2006.

The Ableton Live Project consists of two MIDI-Tracks, containing different notes that control the visuals and the mp3 Track containing the song.
A ‘C-2’ note is set, every time the Snare-Drum is hit in a song. This triggers a change in every visual element. A snare-Note doesn’t do anything, if there is no visual effect activated in the “Program” track.
A ‘C#--2’ note is set, every time the Bass-Drum is hit in a song. This triggers a change in every visual element. A Kick-Note doesn’t do anything, if there is no visual effect activated in the “Program” track.
A ‘D-2’ note should be set, when there is a refrain or another special part of the song. This intensifies the Visuals. A Refrain-Note doesn’t do anything, if there is no effect activated in the “Program” track.
The other notes (from ‘D#-2’ to ‘B-1’) define, which visual elements are activated at a time. If the note is on (red bars), a specific graphical element is played and all activated elements react to the notes set in the “Accents” Track.
