@zeeshan : success! :) vvvvelcome!
@karistouf yes yes, there is no public sdk, library or api, so it needs to be reverse-engineered.. it's a human interface device

Testing my very first shout ;)
... and the next player in the game - http://www.plask.org/ #plask
cool, vvvv supports avisynth!
@Patxi: muy bueno.
@dep its not a question of ftdii based. Its a pb to access dll commands
video mapping
need out of core geometry processing http://www.cs.caltech.edu/~keenan/oocsurvey.pdf
@dEp, The cheap Basic one has a 5 hour limit, and the Full one is relative expensive, I don't get it.
@karistouf: yeah, but it ought to be easy enough to interface with.. i heard it might even be FTDI based. time limit's still there, tho
@dEP: from your post, i asked to chamsys for sources to talk with it. No way. This is restricted to Chamsys material
in new blog section on http://vvvvjs.quasipartikel.at: VVVV.js' road to 1.0
@mrboni: no, i never heard anything again about proforma, i even subscribed to the mailing list...
https://github.com/matiasw/MagicDMX anyone else got one of these? :p
thanks dep, this problem is not new according to the vvvvorum... I willl try your patch.
Krake Festival Starts today!!. http://vimeo.com/25628259
@lecloneur seems not, sending-binary-with-http-(network-post) . could code a plugin: http://www.paraesthesia.com/archive/2009/12/16/posting-multipartform-data-using-.net-webrequest.aspx ...
HTTP(Network Post) can't send binary ?
@efe : nice link. learnt a lot about the new standard there. auto and range based loops look super yummy. too much to read tho.
@Lightmare: i think they love the dj, ;) @Skyliner: Gracias caballero.
@lasal: de puta madre!
@sugoku: check what mr. Stroustrup thinks: http://www2.research.att.com/~bs/C++0xFAQ.html
@deformer niccee!
i´ve used some thing called "cons" or smth lika that once..
is there a single node to combine geometry? thnks!
@lasal are they middle fingers in the air? charming ;)
@Dave :This is not at Berghain but Berghain Kantine,
@lasal: nice, how did you get permission to record the video?

nice derformer like the glitch!
>frank: thx. looks like a good read...
@dl-110 check this blog, it explains technique of similar things: http://directtovideo.wordpress.com/
sorry... something went wrong with the link... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00gAbgBu8R4
impressive as well... "unlimited detail" by euclideon could revolutionize 3D graphics youtu.be/00gAbgBu8R4
@bilderbuchi - what ever happened to 'proforma'. I emailed the guy ages ago and never heard a thing. Maybe the tech got bought?..
unlimited detail interview: http://www.hardocp.com/article/2011/08/10/euclideon_unlimited_detail_bruce_dell_interview
kiilo: or this: http://mi.eng.cam.ac.uk/~qp202/
@ft - This would be even possible with a ordinary "2d" camera - one free program heading in this direction http://www.digilab.uni-hannover.de/docs/manual.html
@ft: yes it riminds me to this technology ~ http://www.robots.ox.ac.uk/~bob/;o)
@dl-110: crazy, I'm wondering how they compute the Kinect's position with such precision...
@dl-110 Wow, very impressive indeed!
@rrrr that's true..
this is impressive - kinectfusion http://youtu.be/quGhaggn3cQ #kinect #hack #3D
@devs : do we have any examples of texture out from c++, or have to copy into c#?
@efe : no worries for spell. if i could change my name now i would :)! it's oF. @efe/mrboni: elliotwoods on skype
and sorry, i misspelled your forum name( let's say that is the spanish speaking version ;-) )
@sogokuGenki: it sounds like a nice challenge to do a porting into vvvv! count me in
@sogokuGenki: are your tools written using any of the c++ toolkits(cinder or OFW)?, glsl shaders?
thank you for spamming! Are you Skypable?
(sorry to go on..1 more thing). if anyone's interested in contributing->MapTools/SL. gimme a buzz! esp for VVVV integration
All my early trials were in VVVV running at 1/10th fps using DynamicTexture and Pipet :). (apologies for spamming this box!!)
Ultimately i'm aiming to put MapTools-SL (my structured light system) into VVVV plugs, but not just yet (it's all c++)
Kyle McDonald's structured light google group would be a good place to start (esp. 3-phase structured light).
After I started to realise the patterns were like in Jonny Chung Lee's vids, i read one of his papers & learnt about greycode
@mrboni/Lightmare : after 'inventing' the technique, it turned out it already existed and was called structured light.
c++ canevas under mingw?
@dave for sure. but me personally way more interested in JS. + wouldn't it be uber nice if coded nodes are compatible with vvvv.js
ah of course. famous mapper of bushes :) Got any reference or reading material you can share?
@mrboni I would suggest you direct that q @sugokuGENKI :)
anyone played with structured light scanning in vvvv?
c# is a wonderful language :)
ah great. would that apply for dynamic plugs too? i see no point in learning C#
@rrrr I think Microsoft will add Javascript support in next version of .net. Just look into Windows 8 demos.
@gregsn that also possible with javascript? https://github.com/languages/
+1 for dynamic c++ plugins ;)
@joanie: really cool. much appreciated!!1
When are the other dynamic plugin tutorials due?... :)
