@Joanie +1 for GitHub
thanks for the answer, gregsn. Is there any documentation available?
@efe: dynamic plugins are c# only. "static" plugins can be written in c++ with an external compiler...
is it possible to write dynamic plugins using c++?
ah sorry for flooding the blog, uploading not as header doesnt work somehow~
i haven't, sorry.
vienna vvvv users! has anyone worked with the machines in the mediaopera and set up a boygroup for the current projection config?
joanie: maybe put the project on github, to easily debug, enhance, share?
@antivj: consider to user folders modules effects plugins instead of content include, so mapping_toolkit.v4p will can be a root
@sugo that would be a mindblowing melting pot of a development environment
@Joanie: Thx, looks great! btw, what about your openframeworks GUI (http://bit.ly/oRW44Z)? Wasn't there a plan to release this?
exe compilable exe compilable ! ( please ?)
thxs antiVj!
node/52094 Super basic, but feedbacks welcome
@mrboni for sure would be great to mix vvvv with some quartz technologies :-)
OpenCL can interoperate with DirectX and oGL
@mrboni - and we could be seeing our dynamic plugin language being exchanged for openFrameworks/Cinder/Processing
@sebl - you mean ctrl+g? not boygroup? :)
@Joanie_AntiVJ your donload link doesn't work
would be great to get vvvv on osx and hooked up with Syphon to all the other wicked mac visual things happening right now.
sorry, seems I mixed up a few things there :)
dream: > select node > press ctrl+b > node turns green and is computed on the gpu
also, i disagree :-).. vvvv-opengl would be very interesting. gpgpu is something totally different.
ft, what you probably mean is Cuda. OpenCl works on more GPUs than Cuda.
@efe: isn't gpgpu limited to nvidia hardware?
@sugokuGENKI: i'm on win32, uvc/1394 cameras. i'll try building it, then :)
@efe, agreed. porting vvvv to ogl looks to me like reinventing the wheel. making something work which already works.
@dEp : not yet. a bit busy on a project right now. which platform(win32/osx) / cameras(uvc/1394/dslr)?
I think that more interesting than creating a gl-vvvv would be to have a gpgpu support
oGL 4 is not supported by any OSX version. Lion has now 3.2
@sugokuGENKI: are there pre-built binaries of Maptools-SL available anywhere?
(but i'd also prefer if we went ogl, because i already can code in ogl. not dx, and probably never)
@rrrr - Although DX11 is generally accepted as more advanced than OpenGL 4, and much more elegantly built.
@r4dian yea, could be. though i don't see the importance of dx these days as there's a multitude of OS out there now all supporting gl
@unc :)
an easy solution looks different to me ;)
http://vimeo.com/sitd/sensible [ a vvvv/kinect installation ]
@rrrr going to assume you mean "add GL" instead of "loose DX".
@xd_nitro: yp, but this was some lastyear stuff, working on new version now (patch will be released)
@unc - realtime?
@u7angel easy solution by getting rid of directx
so elegant unc
@rrrr, still no direct-x on macosx

re:vote... a massive amount of VJs I meet generally lack any tech skills. hence why module8 & Res so massive ;)
agree) i just point that it's incorrect to keep vvvv and resolume in one list. for me (according to the list) we are #4, not 7.
hum... sorry but i m still not convinced by hidding and locking. compiled exe would be the ultimate next great thing ;-)
end-user interacttion stuff))
sorry but do it now what ?
@karistouf that would be great, but anyway i do it now and know many users who do the same
wich is not actually possible. -(
@bo 27: would be possible if we could COMPILE an exe from patch
Mac OS X 71.8% vvvv could be on top ..just saying
it's only VJ rate. lets they try to do something end-user interactive with resolume)))
tststst shame on us. would have been great to have a link such as THE NEXT BIG THING. next time ?
mostly. the bigger packages seem to have motivated their usebase to vote, though.
Is the survey based on their readers only?
here the results cdms survey i posted earlier this year: http://createdigitalmotion.com/2011/08/what-visual-software-readers-use-some-clear-favorites-plenty-of-diversity-in-census-results/?utm_source=feedbur... vvvv #7. still more to come...
cheers joreg! i also put it in the wrong section the 2nd time by accident. it's moved down out of the main menu section now. c
@sugoku: thanks, fixed. you were missing the - for new row
It's Ctrl+J for PatchExplorer. Somehow adding it to ui reference broke the page + didn't add it??? (very sorry!)
anyone remember the hotkey for project manager/viewer. still not documented in normal places
wow is that vvvv.js?
ahahhah dx11
@io - huh. incredible! dx11? :)
@io wow
advanced crypsis 8)
Crypsis :)
arduino in: basicmata in contrib. or rs232 node but some coding.
tried kontrolleur android vvvv app anyone?
but obvuisly not, otherwise you would suggest me i think :)=
@karistouf: sounds good! want to bring some arduino in ,is there an alternative way with the lovely vvvv? thanks!
@sugokuGENKI, no big thing. just find it inspiring.
@ysap: http://glovepie.org/ is your friend !
http://www.ai-class.com/ free online ai class
kind of faking it, using selfmade input devices and using keyboard "codes" to parse it to games maybe ..
hey, is there a way to simulate usb controller or keyboard input?
didnt somone did this sneaker projection thing 2 months ago? is the same thing except less interactive
ah sorry!! @skyliner, not tonfilm :)
@tonfilm -is it sarcasm? i can't understand anything 'great' about that. small scale has been on the menu for so long. !novelty
@all: thanks, but already made it with multiple Buffer's + Cons
@unc try the Cons (EX9.Texture)
@unc: or latest alpha on irc
@unc : perhaps with the sporadic Queue (EX9.Texture) it's possible?
(they seemed happy about the pin compatibility / underlying ambitions. but specifically narked with the name)
@joreg yeahp. i heard they were unhappy with netduino for the same reasons the user mentioned, this was about a year ago.
Good job I've got my umbrella! :S
@sugoku: interesting as here one of the netduinos mentions a kind of collaboration with the arduino guys: http://forums.netduino.com/index.php?/topic/20-arduino-vs-netduino/
is it possible to insert 2 or more textures at once to Buffer (EX9.Texture)?
