catweasel, Tuesday, Aug 24th 2010

@keddyfun, if you have a specific problem/question don't hesitate to use the forum

u7angel, Tuesday, Aug 24th 2010

hi,I am a newby of vvvv.now I want to control 10 projetor by boygroup, but I dont know how to do it, ask for your help. thanks

keddyfun, Tuesday, Aug 24th 2010

@mediadog:CCV 1.3 works fine for me. important: you have to do the calibration first to get useable values!

flux, Tuesday, Aug 24th 2010

http://vimeo.com/14375328

Gareth.Griffiths, Tuesday, Aug 24th 2010

@catweasel @karistouf, CCV 1.3 is sending junk. Verified with TUIODump, TUIOdecoder is correct in dropping bad packets. Thx tho!

mediadog, Monday, Aug 23rd 2010

Dunno feels like it is an important decision, due to the app's author IP.

io, Monday, Aug 23rd 2010

@io, you can edit the page you know? just under the title click edit

@Gaz the london gig is at the Venue new cross, but may have sold out. I'm trying to find out about guests...

catweasel, Monday, Aug 23rd 2010

@mediadog, try setting the mainloop to 60

catweasel, Monday, Aug 23rd 2010

@levi, with latest nvidi's you can do 2d surround to get 3 outs in span mode, which is handy, but prob more expensive than 3head

catweasel, Monday, Aug 23rd 2010

patcher wanted! http://vvvv.org/forum/vvvv-dev-wanted

ampop, Monday, Aug 23rd 2010

is it better a triplehead2go or maybe 2 separate pci express? really need performance

levi, Friday, Aug 20th 2010

i found that 2 ps3eye's worked fine on a hub at 5meters. but wouldn't work with a 5 meter extender + a hub (2 chained hubs).

elliotwoods, Friday, Aug 20th 2010

@gaz october the 2nd, for a radio6 gig, somewhere in london, let you know when I know more :)

catweasel, Friday, Aug 20th 2010

Gareth.Griffiths, Friday, Aug 20th 2010

i managed to have ~30m without loss. combination of repeater, 1 hub and 5m cables. thanks, regards, phil.

phil203, Friday, Aug 20th 2010

@phil203: Not yet but I will soon. Checkout active USB extenders: http://www.usbgear.com/USB-Extenders.html

mediadog, Friday, Aug 20th 2010

On Win7, I get only renderer windows. Alt+R no workey. Ideas? Thanks!

mediadog, Friday, Aug 20th 2010

USB or not USB that is the question...

io, Friday, Aug 20th 2010

@phil203:if longer than 5m,really not very stable, you'll get lots troubles later on.

kalle, Thursday, Aug 19th 2010

@phil: every USBport of your pc may have different results

kalle, Thursday, Aug 19th 2010

@phil I have extended ps3 cams with active but cheap extenders. one 5m extension is no problem and 2 have worked.

sunep, Thursday, Aug 19th 2010

has anybody of you experience with extending a usb camera cable??? thanks, regards, p.

phil203, Thursday, Aug 19th 2010

dawoof, Wednesday, Aug 18th 2010

CeeYaa, Monday, Aug 16th 2010

sry to fast - yeah they are spreadable

CeeYaa, Monday, Aug 16th 2010

funny when i use blend modes on the second output, they dont work at all o: ... no matter the driver

dawoof, Monday, Aug 16th 2010

yeah, its prolly my gfx card and motherboard fighting eachother, il check the conections tho.

dawoof, Monday, Aug 16th 2010

hola compañeros "DynamicTexture is now spreadable" not in my vvvv40beta23 or did I miss something? greetz

lp0 on fire :D

m4d, Monday, Aug 16th 2010

@fibo: yes, it drives me crazy :)

skyliner, Monday, Aug 16th 2010

wikipedia: "bluescreens NT-based Windows systems are usually caused by poorly-written device drivers or malfunctioning hardware."

kalle, Monday, Aug 16th 2010

hehe, like Lp0onFire very much http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lp0_on_fire

kalle, Monday, Aug 16th 2010

http://technologizer.com/2008/09/18/errormessage/ comes to mind..

m4d, Monday, Aug 16th 2010

@io: i don't know how linux tells you about severe hardware problems. maybe not at all? BSODs are NOT at all usual on "healthy" Windows PCs

kalle, Monday, Aug 16th 2010

@skyliner: the most amazing thing is self-similarity... at the end you can see another little mandelbrot set

fibo, Monday, Aug 16th 2010

@vvvvebmaster what about drush en poll ? Let s have some fun!

io, Monday, Aug 16th 2010

If blue screen of death dependent on hardware we should see them equally distributed among all OSs.¿¿

io, Monday, Aug 16th 2010

or maybe power supply to weak? especially when power drops below 220V on site....

kalle, Monday, Aug 16th 2010

from my experiences in very most cases bad ("loose") electrical connections, often caused by vibration during transport or loud music.

kalle, Monday, Aug 16th 2010

agree with kalle, bluescreens are usally hardware causes. check cpu heat, bad memory, bad graphicscard (heat?)

u7angel, Monday, Aug 16th 2010

agree with kalle, bluescreens are usally hardware causes. check cpu heat, bad memory, bad graphicscard (heat?)

@kalle: you use linux since 2 years now? ;)

skyliner, Monday, Aug 16th 2010

my last bluescreen is min. 2y ago. check your hardware. probably graphiccard sitting not perfectly or sth like this

kalle, Monday, Aug 16th 2010

3 blue screens live last night :B

dawoof, Monday, Aug 16th 2010

999$...

karistouf, Sunday, Aug 15th 2010

it was supposed to be so easy! http://www.ipisoft.com/gallery.php

circuitb, Sunday, Aug 15th 2010

@dawoof, by writing a freeframe plugin you can alter the pixels of a videostream directly. a shader is simpler to do though..

joreg, Friday, Aug 13th 2010

@sugoku can vvvv alter the bytes or hex of the video file in realtime to avoid doing a shader? or make the decoder glitch?

dawoof, Friday, Aug 13th 2010

merci u7angel ;-)

karistouf, Friday, Aug 13th 2010

@karistouf enum2string, string2enum

u7angel, Friday, Aug 13th 2010

is it possible to sort / filter global variables ( S and R nodes) ? something like Minus String ?

karistouf, Friday, Aug 13th 2010

@guest it depends on the input, use a larger backbuffer resolution on previous renderer/DXtexture

io, Friday, Aug 13th 2010

sorry just found the answer in the forums. no good jpg from directx function available :((

guest, Friday, Aug 13th 2010

hello. writer ex9 texture saves lousy jpg quality. how to improve or workaround without later conversions?

guest, Friday, Aug 13th 2010

merci ! decompose in my friend now ;-)

karistouf, Friday, Aug 13th 2010

yeah, decompose is probably more pratical..

m4d, Friday, Aug 13th 2010

@karistouf there is also the "decompose" module

lecloneur, Friday, Aug 13th 2010

@karistouf: try GetMatrix/SetMatrix..

m4d, Friday, Aug 13th 2010

is it possible to re-split a transform node informations in values ?

karistouf, Friday, Aug 13th 2010

sorry have to post another gorgeous htrml5 app http://muro.deviantart.com

rrrr, Friday, Aug 13th 2010

@dawoof. you mean without changing the video file right? your best bet is try and write a shader.
