GRAVIOLA

is a gravitational sequencer. Samples are triggered when one of the regularly dropping balls collides with a user-placed bar. The instrument is so simple that even an audience unfamiliar with it can recognize mistakes of a player quite clearly. On the other hand it can be considered more powerful than a regular step sequencer in many ways.

PIXELSORT AND REVERSE

is an experiment on reverting a pixel sort. First, pixels are swapped according to two of various criteria. In the end the pixels are swapped again, but this time according to the coordinates of their original position. They swarm out heading towards their original positions and not quite getting there due to local minima.

TURBULENZEN

is a live audification project. Music is controlled by the smoke of a burning incense stick. The red-framed focus window is moved from left to right in four steps ( = movements) during the performance.
