As part of the Catch the Light program accompanying the olympic games in Athens in August 2004 we've been invited to realize one of the 9 installations that have been setup throughout the city.
The fassade of a building is illuminated by a virtual lightsource that can be played with like a ball thus creating different lighting for the fassade every moment. some more images and a video are available here. |
The talkingchair is an experimental revision of the fabulous design classic Tom Rock (Tom Vac) that was originally designed by Ron Arad in 1999. the second edition of the stopspot festival for electronic music took place in the groundfloor rooms of the ok-centrum in linz.
windows where projected upon from the outside with a seamless image created by a vvvv boygroup. providing an abstract virtual panorama view for the festival visitors. hard to photograph since the images where always in motion. very thankyou for your support michael. more photos of the evening. |
