halleluja, seems we did it again.
thanks for your patience, it has been a while since the last release. we've been hindered by the higher power of business but as yo shall see (in the Change Log ), we have quite some goodies again. first we hope you notice all our tiny bugfixes that should result in an ovvvverall evvvven more stable impression.
then we'd like to specially point out a quite nerdy new feature: multiboygrouping. ie, each client can now listen to any number of servers at once. while we'll still have to document this in the coming days you'll have to finally show us how to make use of this..
also there is this experimental FileStream2 (DShow9) node that you may be curious to test. nothing promised, but the idea is that it would switch files without choking. who believes in vvvv?
well and of course there is an addonpack again, stuffed with an extra 139(!) plugins contributed by woei, vux, fibo, chrismo and i guess some more (notetoself: organize a creditspage).
and if i am not mistaken there is still more to come of this kind...
tsit for now, parents are screaming for attention. so please help yourself and let us know about your findings.

Easter is such a real shwopsy mopsy thing, if you know what we mean.

- a more versatile Multiscreen technique
- spreadable ex9 primitives
- more performant caching with known switches and S+H nodes
- faster patches in hidden tabs
- GUI enhancements for module writers (middleclick an iobox)
- HID nodes for driver development
- more possibilities for plugin developers (mesh and layer outputs, enums in and out)
And some more shwops and mops.
Get it at Downloads, be sure to have installed all the requirements listed under Additional Downloads and also don't forget the latest addonpack!

happy birthday to me. today i am 6 years old. thanku verymuch. guess the highlights of my latest incarnation are that i can finally render to textures with antialiasing. phew, if they knew it was only 5 additional lines of code they could have really spent me this earlier. but i know, how should one know...
also i like my sexy new doublerightclick? what's your QuickNodes?
@devvvvs: they spent me some new interfaces so that you plugin writers can now define arbitrary types for connections. so just like my ordinary node-connections, no more restriction to value, string, color, transform. you can now create your very own. details can be found in the new Plugin Specifications. enums, ex9 meshes and textures still missing though. the bois...zzzz

and: Addon package opens its module doors.
that is: If you want to see your modules permanently in the addon package you can contribute; also means, that all must have modules will be accessible very easily via one download (the addon package). When everything goes well we'll come to a stage where no more searching through hundreds of zips is necessary.

been also working hard to get the plugins integrated in the release cycle and indeed in a view days you should be able to download the first addonpack. plugin developers please read AddOns-Packaging?, prepare their code accordingly and test it against this release. if all goes well we should be able to release the pack early next week.

nothing big, but thanks to our intern elias a lot of fixed bits and some new funky set-theory nodes. also check the enhanced Expr (Value) node which can now deal with arbitrary variable inputs.

dear audiophiles and ordinary maintainace release lovers,
you might want to check that out:
- audio ON: now you can plug your favorite VST instrument / effect into vvvv. also have a look on the waveplayer patches in \girlpower\+Sound.
- patch OFF: there's a new commandline option "/shutup" to finish your project in a clean way. only renderers are displayed. only the ALT-F4 shortcut works.
also:
- FUZZY stuff: Ctrl+F1: ##vvvv on irc.freenode.net now should work always and from everywhere
- SUPERTRUE: browse the nodelist.xml to get all the facts about your beloved nodes

surely a small step for mankind but still worth noting is vvvvs newly built in open plugininterface that allows anyone to write their own plugin-nodes. horray. still without documentation at this moment, which shall be changed shortly after Node08 has finished. bare with us..
a real revolution in interface design though is offered by the patentpending Kalle (VVVV) node. handle with care.

horray. just right in time for node08 a new release: 33beta15.
lots of stuff this time:
- WavePlayer fixed+enhanced
- kalle gets his node IDs
- eno gets his SourceBuffer
- 2008 style copypaste features for everyone
- greatly improved boygrouping (debug your clients!)
ja, and a fix here and a new bug there, of course.
have we mentioned beta14.9? actually if all goes well with beta15 it shouldn't be of any interest. really only if beta15 feels strange in a way you may want to check against beta14.9 and report if you find any obvious differences that may help us debugging.
