as usual the addonpack is stuffed with great bytes by vvvvs regulars vux, woei and phlegma. keep it up bois! please consult the addons change log to see what they came up with.
also this time is a first for unc who makes his debut with sharing a mere ~50 (stopped counting there..) effects/modules for image manipulation. it is hard to fit into superlatives what he did in the last two months after he stumbled on karistouf's quest for easy image treatment possibilities: pure-image-treatment-question-wich-evolution-for-vvvv
TextureFX is in a way comparable to freeframeGL as it is a specification of how to prepare vvvv-modules for texture-manipulation in order to make them work together nicely. only apart from the specification it also already comes with a fairly complete implementation right in this addonpack. in the nodebrowser just check for "filter", "fx" or "unc".
this needs to go out to the world, so i prepared a little press-statment:
see, i made this <140 characters for your tweeting pleasure. people interested herein were also interested in unc's videos on vimeo
now go ahead download, test and report your findings on the forum.
rendering by unc
this is the first beta28 addonpack.
it comes with a bunch of new stuff by unc regarding realtime cubemapping, ie modules for conversions between different formats. and lecloneur spent you all a humble bundle of 30 TextureFX modules. just type his name into the NodeBrowser to see the list.
there is a new TypeWriter (String) based on original code by bo27 that should come quite handy for creating onscreen keyboards.
besides that a series of fixes and new nodes by yours truly vux and woei as documented in the change-log.
remember: everything thats in the addonpack (and more) is open-source: https://github.com/vvvv/vvvv-sdk
So what we got here?
If you speak Photoshop have a look at Hello Photoshop which explains a way to talk to a running photoshop instance on your network. Get images from it, send images to it and stuff... Anybody got an actual usecase for that?
For more details about whats new in this release please consult the change-log.
helohelo,
this brand new addonpack for beta30 notably brings fixes for
+ a new node by herbst: AsXElement (JSON)
full details in the changelog. we bow to all contributors..
this is beta27s addonpack.
(2nd service. now also including stuff accidentally missing from the first pack, like Box2d nodes)
it includes updates by unc for TextureFX (textures now keep their formats through each module), there's been a rework of the phidget nodes by phlegma and woei has spent us some nice new nodes + some more stuff. it is all (supposed to be) in the changelog.
muchos gracias to all contributors.
not enough new stuff you say? consider this the calm before the storm...

may i have your attention please.
two major things in the addonpack this time:
HTMLTexture update
Everybody say thanks to meso for sponsoring an upgrade of the HTMLTexture nodes to now make use of CEF3, see htmltexture-node-using-cef-3-now
PolygonEditor
vvvv meisterschüler dominikKoller gives to you: The PolygonEditor (2d) which following the tradition of vvvvs other editors (Point, Grid, Mesh) is patched from the ground up (including multiselection, snapping, keyboard-interaction, serialization,...). Only this time in a quite modular manner allowing you to easily adapt its functionality to your personal needs. Also with a beautiful seperation between model and view allowing you to easily adapt this to DX11. For a first usecase, see the revamped: badmapper.
Plus the usual smaller fixes, as you can see in the changelog linked below. thanks everyone for your contributions.

changes, fixes and new stuff as you can see in the changelog.
be reminded that many treasures can be found among the contributions. if you like something from there to be in the addonpack make sure to bug the author to add it.
and remember that you now have an easy way to support fellow patchers and coders via flattr as explained in the flattr-on-vvvv.org blog post.
now we got something here this time...
besides a couple of fixes as you can see in the changelog we'd like to particularly point your interest to the fine (and massive) drop of arduino/firmata girlpowers by jens.a.e to whom we're also of course still greatful for the arduino/firmata nodes that come with this very same pack already since quite a while now. those are finally the demos he promised from his node13 workshop + some more as it seems. find them under:
\addonpack\girlpower\Arduino
gut patch!
as always fanks a lot to all contributors and testers...
note that the x64-pack has some bits missing, see: vvvv-64bit
