Fun sports, visuals and architecture mapping - an impressive mix!
For a public event at the LAAX OPEN 2016, we joined forces with PRIMOCOLLECTIVE and schnellebuntebilder to develop a special experience for the visitors.

Who dared to enter the trampoline, was tracked by a 3D camera. Using the software vvvv and our very own dx11.pointcloud-plugin we immediately transformed the filmed bodies into explosive visuals, covering two large buildings on-site.

Production: Primo Collective, Intolight
Visuals, Coding, Interaction: Schnellebuntebilder.de, Intolight

The crew of the “Nachtdigital” festival organized the Dutch issue of their event called „Nachtiville“, which took place In autumn 2015 at the bungalow village De Eemenhof, Netherlands.
Our part was to turn a former restaurant into a chillout zone. Together with the well-experienced Nachtdigital team we set up an immersive projection mapping creating a pleasing atmosphere inside the room. Additional object mappings and targeted illumination support the relaxing environment.

The Guest is a site-specific audio-visual installation with a soundtrack from Samuel Kerridge. The installation was originally installed in an old underground spa, space once glorious but now abandoned and distressing. Still it provides a good shelter for last humans when either utopian or distopian scenarios came true, making biological life obsolete. There is a conscious force present casting shadows and deconstructing the perception of reality, travelling around the last inhabitants, maybe a reason why they are hiding here.

LATLONG is part of the public art project ‘Virtual Depictions: San Francisco’
by Refik Anadol with Kilroy Realty Corporation / John Kilroy and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP Architects.

Public art commission for 350 Mission Building in City of San Francisco, California.

In this real-time visualizations of twitter activity in San Francisco, thousands of daily tweets are transformed into millions of particles that illuminate the cityscape, floating up from where they were written and rising into the sky.

The visualization was created by mapping every geotagged tweet to a point-cloud model of the iconic seaside city of San Francisco. In the video, this mapping generates a heatmap of Twitter-messages that colorize and displace the point-cloud. Every tweet emits a swarm of particles that spawn on the point-cloud itself and symbolize the words and letters of the tweet.

DJ HVAD at Platform 4 with MOTORSAW aka. sunep visuals

In the fall of 2015 I got the idea of using the kinect depth image when making live visuals, it works surprisingly well.
I moved back and forth in different depths and it created a kind of scanning effect where people looks like ghosts.
DJ HVAD provided the music, it was awesome, go listen: https://soundcloud.com/kishore-dj-hvad
At the right event people really get into it.
