We'll be coverering the basics and lean into Projection Mapping and Kinect.

Hello,
A little bank holiday hiatus means a few item of interest concerning v4w could be developed upon.
This coming session and a few to come will be to dedicated brainstorming and making projects. The Hackney Wicked festival is approaching and we've been granted space and a few resources to use for the weekend. There are discussions ongoing about maybe producing visuals for the evening music events (parties) they will be having around the area so if you're interested, pop down or get in touch.
If you can't make it to the sessions It'll be able to regurgitate in the "Discourse" page can continue between them, but its a compliment rather than a replacement for the sessions: there's nothing like face to face contact to get the point across.

Switchboy is a vvvv-based software VJ-Mixer for the easy collaborative creation of reactive environments at festivals and public events. With an easy-to-use software framework, interactive and immersive environments can be created almost instantaneously. Once set up in public spaces, the input of audio analysis data, motion-sensing data or any other input from interfaces opens the system to the physical world.

Grazie al feedback positivo ricevuto dagli eventi passati Rumours si spinge quest’anno verso l’interazione con professionisti internazionali del settore: ad arricchire l’edizione 2011 ci saranno infatti il musicista be...rlinese Frank Bretschneider ed il video-artista Lasal, che mostreranno le loro tecniche produttive in studio e live tramite una masterclass che si terrà il 15 maggio 2011 nella sede del Saint Louis di Via Cimarra. Inoltre gli artisti si esibiranno il 16 maggio durante i saggi di musica elettronica che avranno luogo presso il club Lanificio 159 a Roma.
