This year, again , i was so lucky to be in part of the Flight club area in Space Ibiza closing fiesta, one of the most famous parties around the island since many years, taking the parking of space to convert it in an open air club .
Probably one of the nices events in all the summer, keeping that old spirit of ibiza.
This year Video setup was quite interesting, in terms of content creation and live execution.
We were in charge of all the LED screens , counting with three vjs , one of them , myself.
Setup was done with two video mixers, and four sources, mixing live video content in two displays, 3 screens of 6mm and a cover of 15mm LED curtain.
This is the aspect of our FOH

Electro pop experts 'Strange Talk' approached us asking for a cutting edge visual presence for their new live show. Happy to oblige, we went to work designing and engineering a solution that can setup in minutes and pack down to a compact road case, all controlled live via midi allowing the guys to easily improvise their set on the fly.

For the 2015 edition of PLATINE festival GROSSE 8 developed a digital video game machine. Due to a combination of transparent display and projection, the game is not restricted to a two-dimensional surface but rather takes place on a three-dimensional level. The peculiar challenge: Animated content on the transparent display will block the player's view, forcing him to move around in order to maintain visual access to the playing field. Resembling the feel of old arcade games, the combination of digital and real space creates a new and unique gaming experience.

Transtrument is a minimalistic audio-visual game, simple to use for any ages. The procedural animation's parameters can be adjusted with gesture controls. The interactions are designed with a help of kinect in vvvv - generating a dynamic sound and projection experience.

Thanks for Biela Noc 2015, T-systems, Creative Industry Kosice and the VVVV community for their support.

A meditation on the state of our own diminishing environment is transformed here into a contemplation about environments outside of our blue green planet and the potential consequences of reaching them.
Each visitor can explore their own unique human footprint on the surface of Mars and simultaneously reflect on the relationship humanity has with its surroundings, both immediate and in the distant future.

In MIRROR everything you know about reality is about to change. Movement becomes sound - sound becomes light - time is bending in the mirror - and matter dissolves in a fluid stream of particles connecting everything in constant motion.

One Oculus Rift, one Microsoft Kinect 2, a pair of headphones, an array of contact-, directional and ambient-microphones and a PC with VVVV + MaxMSP is the technical setup for this experiment.

This installation analyses the movement of the user and transform sound and visuals in the very same moment. A MAXMSP-Patch is analysing the head and limb-positions and generates 3d-sound-scapes (binaural) in order to boost the immersive experience.

Depending on the agility of the user the audio-visual journey is told faster or slower and is connected tightly to every movement and noise happening.

MIRROR premiered at the NODE Festival for Digital Art in April 2015 as "M2" and is shown since then at selective events and locations.
